You are not in my inbox, why do I check so many times?
You are not in a text, but I can’t wait to hear the phone chime.
You are so very real but yet a fantasy to me.
I feel your arms around me but it feels like just a dream.
I hope each day to hear your voice, or to catch a distant glimpse of you.
I hope that you are thinking of me each day as I think of you.
You are so very real but yet a fantasy to me.
I feel your arms around me but it feels like just a dream.
Someday I’ll find my fantasy, someday I will find my dream.
I want to make this a collection of poetry from myself and others. A collection of feelings, beliefs & dreams where anyone can express themselves.

Life Through My Eyes
Sunsets and full moons,
Raindrops on my face,
Crashing waves and Celtic runes,
In a state of grace.
Lightning dancing across the sky,
Crisp mornings on the mountain,
Watching the eagle fly,
Water sprinkling from a fountain.
The scent of a fire,
The glow of candle light,
The fog raising higher,
Everything feels so right.
Fields of flowers,
The shade of a willow tree,
Thunderous spring showers,
Getting things for free.
Take nothing for granted,
Take everything to heart,
Stay calm when life gets frantic,
Remember to look at love like a fresh start.

Together
You and I shall be together,
Though we may be miles apart.
For a distance is not measured,
By the faithful heart.
All throughout each shadowed night,
For your distant lovelight burning
Is my candlelight.
You and I shall be together,
Like the pearl-pale clouds on high.
When the silver moon is glowing
In the distant sky,
You and I shall be together.
For our distant thoughts of love
Are the lanterns of the heaven,
Hung in stars above.
You and I shall be together,
Though I may be far away.
For our hearts are dawn and twilight,
Fastened to the sky.

What Do You See When You Look At Me?
When I look at you I see a heart of gold of love and strength.
I get lost in your eyes and melt from your smile.
I get lost in you – body, mind and soul.
When I’m not with you I close my eyes,
And like a whisper on the wind I hear you say my name.
Like flowers on a spring breeze I know your scent.
I get lost in you – body, mind and soul.
What do you see when you look at me?
A nervous smile and racing heart?
A lust, a wanting for love untold?
Do you see my nerves jump at your touch
Or how I melt with your caress?
What do you see?
Do you really see me?
